I have a keen interest in carbene chemistry, which fuels my passion for exploring innovative chemical reactions. I used to work with the croissant-type enzyme, which sparked my fascination with biocatalysis. Outside of my professional pursuits, I enjoy indulging in gummy bears and exploring new flavors.

I specialize in designing reactivity patterns to develop innovative methodologies for organic synthesis. My work focuses on harnessing light to initiate reactions involving highly reactive radical species—whether through redox quenching, energy transfer catalysis, or atom transfer. When I’m not developing new reactions, I develop mountain trails.

I’m interested in photoinduced C(sp³)–H functionalizations and ligand-to-metal charge-transfer chemistry. In my spare time, I love cooking and playing table tennis — in 2020 I won the women’s table tennis championship at a company sports meeting.
